We’re excited to share the details of another stunning project today! The Custom One Renovation team recently helped the owners of this Inver Grove Heights home remodel their main level after their dishwasher flooded the first floor and lower level while they were on vacation. While it was an unfortunate incident, it did give the homeowners a chance to upgrade their space.

The newly remodeled kitchen features two-toned painted cabinets, quartz countertops, and a matching slab backsplash. We love how the arched dining room ceiling carries over the color of the kitchen island, adding a cohesive feel and just the right touch of drama! Gorgeous wood flooring flows seamlessly throughout the main level, pairing perfectly with the range hood and the fireplace mantel.

Today, we’re excited to share this spectacular pool cabana in West Lakeland, Minnesota! Connecting with clients is one of our biggest highlights on any project, but it’s even sweeter when those relationships lead to repeat collaborations. We’ve done it all with this family; Custom One Homes built their home in 2020, Custom One Renovation created this spectacular pool cabana, and Custom One Landscaping finished the rest of the yard.

It’s been a pleasure to help this family design and complete their dream home! They were terrific to work with, and their new backyard is an absolute oasis. Even with a few weather delays, our team was happy to finish in time for these owners to show off the new patio, pool, cabana, and firepit at their daughter’s graduation party!

We’re back with another exciting project feature! The Custom One Renovation team recently helped the owners of this Hudson, WI home refresh their primary bathroom and closet. Originally built in the early 2000s, the home’s primary bathroom was outdated, and the closet featured an open foyer style. The homeowners wanted to update both spaces to make them larger and add a soaking tub to the bathroom.

The newly remodeled bathroom and closet are sure to impress! The spacious walk-in closet features built-in shelving and hanging space. A small island anchors the closet, providing drawers and shelving for clothes, accessories, and more. The primary bathroom got a total refresh with a light, bright, and oh-so-functional design. Flanked by a linen cabinet, the large custom gray-painted vanity features dual sinks and ample storage. A luxurious soaking tub and custom walk-in tile shower give this bathroom a spa-like feel.

Custom One Renovation recently partnered with the team at Interior Impressions to breathe new life into this Mendota Heights home. Before remodeling, the home’s layout was choppy; many spaces were boxed in, with 3/4 walls blocking natural light. The client had a clear vision going into the remodel. The main goal was to open up the floor plan and improve the flow. They also wanted to give the house a more modern feel with stunning focal points and add a functional home gym.

This newly remodeled home has all that and more! The main level features a spacious living area highlighted by a brick accent wall and an eye-catching fireplace. A combination mudroom/laundry room oozes beauty and function with ample storage and two sets of washers and dryers. The lower level has texture and warmth with a beautiful barnwood accent wall. Rubber flooring, large mirrors, and ample space for weights and equipment create the ultimate home gym.

Elegance and simplicity lead the interior aesthetic, with various design options available for homeowners to customize their space. Now that it’s over, we want to thank everyone who visited us during The Spring Parade of Homes. Our team had so much fun meeting and chatting with each of you! We were thrilled when this project was named a 2023 Dream Home, and we loved sharing our work.

What is The Housing First Minnesota Foundation?

Have you wondered what the $5 admission fee to visit a Parade Dream Home goes towards? Dream Home proceeds support the Housing First Minnesota Foundation, which works to build safe housing for Minnesotans in need of shelter. It is an honor to have our craftsmanship recognized, but the real privilege is doing our part to help this important cause. The Housing First Minnesota Foundation is a mission-driven organization with a long-term vision to end homelessness in our community. They focus on partnerships that build housing for vulnerable individuals, families, and veterans most at risk of experiencing homelessness. Our Custom One Renovation team recently completed this beautiful whole home remodel on White Bear Lake. These fantastic clients dreamed of living on the lake for years, so they acted fast when this property became available! Renovating was always the next step in the plan; they knew it would take some time and investment to get the home they wanted.

We were given two main goals for this remodel: to create a private mother-in-law suite and build a multi-use space for taking in the stunning lakeside view. The homeowners also felt the space was too small and boxed in for their needs. To execute this vision, we updated the entire home, opened up the main level, and built an addition.

There are always challenges when marrying old and new construction, and these clients handled the bumps along the way with grace. They were amazing to partner with on such a large-scale project, and it was a pleasure to help them realize their dream home. There’s no better feedback than hearing that they never plan to leave!
